The Diocese of Durham seeks to appoint a Generous Giving Project Officer who will:
- Define what Christian Stewardship looks like in Durham Diocese
- Equip parishes to become communities of generous givers
- Provide capacity to make generous giving happen
Good stewardship is critical in enabling us to deliver the diocesan mission strategy.
We are therefore looking for someone who will bring a biblical and contemporary understanding of Christian giving and stewardship to promote a clear understanding of generous giving as a core aspect of Christian discipleship across our parishes.
The person appointed must be a practising Christian.
This is a full-time post which includes evening and weekend working
The role will be based at the Diocesan Office in Durham and will require travel around the Diocese.
