General Synod By-election – Durham – One Proctor in Convocation

We are pleased to announce that Revd Bill Braviner, part of the Billingham Team Parish ministry, has been elected to serve as a clergy representative (formally known as a “proctor in convocation”) for the Diocese of Durham on the General Synod following Steve Bellamy’s appointment to Farringdon in the Diocese of Oxford.  We look forward to Bill joining our other General Synod members to represent the diocese in this important part of the national church’s governance.
